Tuesday Night Film Series
The new Tuesday night winter film series at the Nut Roaster Studio, opens with 15 – 20 minutes of shorts by local filmmakers and follows with one feature length film by independent and cult directors. Being in the epicenter of such a vibrant and creative neighborhood like Bushwick, BK, we have an abundance of filmmakers producing amazing work. By starting a film series we not only aim to create an arena for these filmmakers to come and screen their current projects but also have film enthusiast let them emerging know what they think. We then see works of directors and films that have been neglected by the mainstream, forgotten, or simply unknown. In addition FilmShop Collective chooses one submitted short script a week and produces it for free. This combined with cheep beer, free pizza, and a whiskey night, free for 1 hour after screenings from 10-11pm, at The Brooklyn Fire Proof directly across the
street ensures a Tuesday night well spent.
