The Brooklyn Fire Proof East cafe/bar is an oasis of exposed brick and character in East Williamsburg. Walk down the steps to find an extensive menu offering spirits, coffee, and tea. We also serve delicious baked eggs, sandwiches, and salads. Come take advantage of our free wi-fi to help you work, or our free board games to help you play. Catch one of the many events we host. We are pleased to introduce to you our awesome cafe chef

Nadine Beauchamp

Nadine started out cooking at her family home on Long Island, NY, where her mother recalls that she “could always be found mixing something up in the kitchen”.

Professionally she has worked in a number of italian bakeries, as a personal chef for Anders Corr & family in their beautiful Bushwick home, and as a freelance pastry chef all around Greenpoint, in addition to some swanky little restaurant on the Upper East Side.

Her favorite movie scene is the one with all the flying teacups in Beauty and the Beast, and every hamburger bite in any Quentin Tarantino movie. She doesn’t use turmeric, ever.
