Presents:
REPELLENT FESTIVAL
March 26th – 30th, 2004
New York City
We are excited and pleased to present the premiere edition of Repellent Festival in New York City. The freestyle arts and culture festival will include: a group art exhibition, a magazine publication release and live music/DJ/VJ performances by many acclaimed, international and underground artists.
Heraldic Pomp , a themed art exhibition (with live art performances) curated by Repellent Magazine, will feature the work of over 30+ artists working in the fields illustration/graphic design, painting, mixed-media, installation and performance.
Repellent Festival’s musical component will offer a special mix of experimentally-driven electronic, rock & dance acts recognized for exploring highly uncharted realms beyond the constraints of their respective genres. An eclectic roster, the evenings (taking place at VOLUME, REMOTE LOUNGE & APT ) have been programmed to mentally excite as well as to rhythmically stimulate, whether that be while headed into the realms of the abstract or veering into the depths of the dance floor.
The much anticipated Repellent Magazine, Issue #3 (the Heraldic Pomp Issue) will also be released during the festival.
Artist bios, pictures and artwork samples are forth coming.
