Delocated Third Season Premiere Tonight
Don’t miss the third season premiere of Delocated on Adult Swim Thursday at midnight!

From the creators of Wonder Showzen and Xavier: Renegade Angel, in this show comedian Jon Glaser plays a man in the Witness Protection Program who moves his family to New York City so they can star in a reality TV show, forced to wear balaclavas at all times.
These guys have stopped by the stages a few times to shoot the show and we’re very happy to see them kick off their new season, which they say is going to be their sexiest season yet. Check out some behind the scenes footage here.
Eve to Adam- Run Your Mouth
Rock band Eve to Adam released their album Banquet for a Starving Dog this summer and with it they also released their music video for “Run Your Mouth.” Shot here at the Nut Roaster, this high energy video turned our stages into a concert venue/interrogation room. Thank you guys for bringing a little law and order and family values to our corner of Brooklyn.
Check out what Taki Sassaris and Alex Sassaeis from Eve to Adam have to say about the experience.
Twin Sister -Kimmi in a Rice Field
Last month Twin Sister’s drummer, Bryan Ujueta, and filmmaker Dan Devine co-directed the visuals for “Kimmi in a Rice Field”. Two of our BFP staff, Kevin Hayden (DP) and Sydney Buchan (Producer), also had a hand in this creation. The team decided to use our Seltzer Room Studios to create this lush and freaky flick. Shot in Studio#1 Andrea Estella and Taísa Rodrigues turned our 1,000 sq ft white cyc into a moonlit supernatural forest. Check it out:
Das Racist
The Brooklyn hip hop group Das Racist just released their first full length album Relax this week. They also released their music video for the single “Michael Jackson”. We had the high-energy trio in our stages for the creation of this gem. Our baby Seltzer Room #1 even gets a little cameo, check it out:
Tayisha Busay
We love us some Tayisha Busay so when they decided to shoot here again we were STOKED. Here is their most recent audio visual one-two punch entitled “Focus”.
Rope outfits…Rarrwww. BUT WAIT there’s more: Tayisha Busay is playing TONIGHT with other Brooklyn legends such as Tiny Victories, Great Tiger, A&R, AND DJ JD Samson. They will all be rockin out at Glasslands at 9pm and so will I and so should you. I could go on and on but why read when you can watch vids on the internet!
Great Tiger-3D!
Yesterday Grier Dill of Great Tiger graced us with his presence and unveiled Great Tiger’s latest visual creation! “Videodrome” was shot here at BFP with the help of some of our creative staff members, was given some very tender loving care from Grier himself, and has now EXPLODED onto the interwebs in glorious three dimensional awesomeness. Hopefully you have those 3D glasses from your childhood cereal box still safely locked away in your keepsake shoe box like me. If you aren’t a hoarder you can still score a pair by to going to their show on September 9th at Glasslands! In the meantime check it out anyway because it still looks pretty good in regular ole’ 2D.
Austra

If you have not had your ear drums tickled by this band you are missing out. Austra’s magical Toronto trio is made up of Katie Stelmanis (vocalist, pianist), Maya Postepski (drummer), and Dorian Wolf (bassist). Their recent album was released May 17 and they chose Brooklyn Fire Proof as the venue for their music video! Directed by M Blash (Lying) the video for “Lose it” takes place in an almost bare room and is both surreal and playful. Check it out below and look at their tour dates as they are set to play in Brooklyn on 10/6!
VBlasting Off!
Some of you may have heard of Tyreke Evans of Gunning for That #1 Spot or of Sacramento Kings fame. Well we at BFP got a chance to witness his all star skills when he came down for a VBlast commercial earlier this summer. Here is a behind the scenes look at Mr. Evans heatin’ up the greenscreen, directed by Charles Nordeen with music by Twenty Three.
Hot News, Cold Souls
If you haven’t yet seen Paul Giamatti’s new feature film, Cold Souls, definitely check it out. In theaters now, the film explores one actor’s journey (Paul playing himself) after he discovers a company that allows him to store his soul indefinitely in a jar, and go soulless or even rent the souls of others. We had the pleasure of hosting the shooting of Cold Souls here at the Nut Roaster studios, and are thrilled about it’s release. Enjoy!

Next week, the extraordinarily vibrant, talented, and athletic inventor of Houserobics style music is coming to shoot her first video at The Nut Roaster! Imagine your favorite disco ball turning, flashing lights dance floor music set to the tone of the best aerobics class of your life. The Queen of good vibes, Cherie Lily will grace her presence at The Nut Roaster studio to create an inspirational, instructional and entertaining video that showcases her original music, moves, and personality!
